Acting PM Phumtham Wechayachai met a U.S. congressional delegation in Bangkok on 25 August to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and regional security. Talks highlighted cooperation in digital economy and energy, U.S. support on Thai-Cambodia ceasefire, and upcoming defense cooperation at the Chiefs of Defense Conference in Hua Hin.
