Bangkok has surged to 7th place in the 2024 ICCA Global Rankings for international conference destinations—up from 15th in 2023—affirming Thailand’s position as a rising global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) powerhouse. The announcement was made at IMEX Frankfurt 2025, based on data from the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
Thailand saw a 43% rise in foreign investment from January to April 2025, with 363 foreign businesses approved under the Foreign Business Act. Total investment hit 57.86 billion baht (US$1.77B).
