Global hunger declined for a third consecutive year in 2025, with approximately 645 million people affected, according to a United Nations report. Progress was recorded across several regions, particularly Asia. However, climate disruption, trade uncertainty, child malnutrition and the high cost of nutritious food continue threatening further improvement worldwide.
