Congratulatory message from H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.), Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand to H.E. Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of the Republic of India 🇹🇭🇮🇳

.
“Excellency,
.
I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, our heartfelt congratulations on the 75-week-long celebrations of the 75th Independence Day of India. This auspicious occasion also has a special significance for Thailand as next year will mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and India.
.
Thailand has witnessed, with admiration, the remarkable progress accomplished by India since her Independence in 1947. For more than seven decades, our two countries have maintained cordial and long-standing ties and cooperation in all areas. Particularly at this moment, Thailand appreciates close cooperation with India in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic. I believe that our enhanced cooperation in health security, including potential cooperation on vaccines, will truly contribute to the well-being of the peoples of our two countries.
.
I sincerely wish the Republic of India and her people continued prosperity and happiness in the years to come.”
.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
.
General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.)
Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand
