From riverside lamps to beachside celebrations, the Amazing Thailand Grand Diwali Festival 2026 brings Indian culture and community spirit to seven venues.

For Indians living in Thailand, Diwali is an opportunity to share familiar traditions with friends, neighbours and the wider community. This November, the Amazing Thailand Grand Diwali Festival 2026 is bringing that spirit to Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket, with celebrations running from 3–29 November.

The programme combines diya-lighting ceremonies, Bollywood music, Indian food, cultural performances and festive markets, offering families several opportunities to celebrate throughout the month.

The festival brings together the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Indian Association of Thailand, the Thai–India Trade and Tourism Association, the Embassy of India in Thailand, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and other partners.

It also looks ahead to 80 years of Thailand–India diplomatic relations in 2027, celebrating the community connections that underpin the relationship.

A Festival of Light, Faith and Togetherness

Diwali’s message of light overcoming darkness is reflected throughout the programme, from ceremonial lamps to illuminated riverside displays.

This year’s events extend the celebration beyond a single evening. Families can choose between performances in central Bangkok, festivities in Little India, a Pattaya beach outing or an Indian food celebration in Phuket.
