The campaign was supported by social worker Gaurav Raj Jandel and child rights advocate Ritu Gupta, who highlighted the necessity of awareness to the gathered students. Both speakers stressed that it’s crucial for children to understand their rights and to report any inappropriate or harmful actions to the police immediately.

Addressing issues surrounding the POCSO Act and child trafficking, they underscored the joint responsibility of government bodies, parents, guardians, and the youth to actively work towards a safer environment. Gaurav Raj Jandel warned of the deceptive promises of high salaries and ideal job opportunities that lead families to make uninformed decisions, putting their children at risk of exploitation. He emphasized that informed decision-making and vigilant parental guidance are essential to preventing incidents of trafficking and abuse.

Neha Shrivastava, coordinator of the event, also shared her insights on the complexities of child trafficking, urging the community to prioritize safety and awareness to protect children from falling prey to criminal networks.

The event was attended by school faculty, local dignitaries, and community members, all united in their commitment to making Jaipur a safer place for its children. The “Jago Bachon Jago” campaign continues to move across Rajasthan, fostering child awareness and creating a network of informed, empowered young citizens.
