Synopsis:

This vibrant comedy centers around Gabriel, a divorced father who dotes on his 9-year-old daughter Sofia, and they do many fun things together. Things change when Gabriel meets Vicky, a vivacious woman who had a crush on him earlier and is happy to re-connect with him. Gabriel finds himself falling in love with her.

The only problem is that Vicky has an aversion for kids. So, whenever she visits him at his home, Gabriel needs to remove all traces of Sofia and her things! There are plenty of comic, and tough, situations. It’s not easy for Gabriel to hang on to the lie, especially to his precocious daughter. The two would have to meet. And then?

The film is a rollercoaster ride of fun and energy, with an amazing cast and well-established director.

The lead-actor has been described as the ‘Argentinian Hugh Grant’, while the actress won fame after her key role in ‘Pans Labyrinth’ . The 9- year-old daughter also won much praise for her scene-stealing performance.

The  Hollywood Reporter praised the film for its “ Quality performances energy and slickness”, adding “ No Kids cleverly chimes for a generation of parents which is ambivalent about having kids, loving them deeply whilst at the same time aware of the lost freedoms parenthood entails.

The movie was a big ‘hit’ with audiences and critics, and with  500,000 viewers, was said to be one of the three-most watched films in the country. It won over audiences at international film festivals, and was distributed to many countries around the world.

The Embassy of the Argentine Republic has great pleasure in inviting you to an exclusive screening of the film in Bangkok.
