Thailand Launches TouristDigiPay Pilot to Enable Digital Asset Payments for Visitors

Thailand’s SEC launched the TouristDigiPay pilot, inviting licensed digital asset firms and e-money providers to enable foreign tourists to convert crypto into Thai Baht for spending via QR code. Applications are open until December 26, with services expected to start in late 2025.
