India Digitises Export Certificates Through Direct Software Integration

India’s Directorate General of Foreign Trade launched an open interface allowing exporters to request and verify Certificates of Origin directly through their accounting or enterprise software. Available on the Trade Connect platform, the facility covers preferential and non-preferential certificates, reducing duplicate data entry and streamlining an export-compliance process for businesses.
