A 10-wheel truck carrying more than 14 tonnes of a corrosive chemical hit a guardrail on the Pattaya-Chon Buri bypass in Bang Lamung district at about 01:06 on 4 Nov. The leak was still uncontrolled when reported. The driver, 53, told rescuers he fell asleep.
