Bangkok Rain and Flooding: TAT Issues Travel Advisory for Visitors

Airport & Transport Status: ✈️ Suvarnabhumi (BKK): Open — travellers should avoid the heavily waterlogged Lat Krabang route where possible and consider Motorway No. 7 or Burapha Withi Expressway. ✈️ Don Mueang (DMK): Open — passengers should allow an additional 2–3 hours for road travel. 🚆 Airport Rail Link and SRT Red Line: Operating. BTS Skytrain and MRT may also provide alternatives for journeys within Bangkok. Localised flooding and traffic congestion could significantly extend travel times even though Bangkok’s airports and major rail systems remain operational. Visitors with flights, train journeys or bus connections should leave considerably earlier than usual.
