Airlines Warned to Avoid Jordanian Airspace

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency advised airlines to avoid Jordanian airspace as regional military activity intensified. Existing warnings covering several Gulf and Middle Eastern areas were also extended through August. Authorities said active defence systems and the possibility of civilian aircraft being misidentified created significant risks for commercial aviation operations.
