9 Temples To Heaven to Open Bangkok International Film Festival 2026

Thailand’s 9 Temples To Heaven, directed by Sompot Chidgasornpongse and produced by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, will open the Bangkok International Film Festival 2026. Running September 13–27, BKKIFF will feature international and Asian competitions, industry programmes and the Talad Nang film market, strengthening Bangkok’s position in Asian cinema.
