The 33rd SEA Games Thailand 2025, running from 9–20 December, is Southeast Asia’s largest multi-sport event, uniting athletes from 11 regional nations for more than a week of top-level competition and celebration. Thailand serves as the host for the seventh time, with contests held across Bangkok, Chonburi, and Songkhla—plus supporting events in 7 additional provinces.
Host Cities and Venues

Bangkok: The main hub, with over 30 sports including athletics (Supachalasai National Stadium), swimming (Huamark Sports Complex), men’s football, basketball (Nimibutr Stadium), volleyball (Indoor Stadium Huamark), taekwondo, and more. Rajamangala National Stadium will host the opening and closing ceremonies.

Chonburi & Rayong: Cover over 15 sports such as women’s football, weightlifting, mountain biking, golf, handball, billiards/snooker, and triathlon, at facilities like Chonburi Sports School, Amata Spring Country Club, and Jomtien.

Songkhla: Focuses on southern Thailand’s events—men’s football (Tinsulanon Stadium), judo, wushu, karate, Muay Thai, and others at Prince of Songkla University and city venues.
