Sunil Kothari Champions Women’s Empowerment and Showcases Creative Ventures at We-Women Network Event
Bangkok, Thailand – The We-Women Network, in collaboration with BangkokScoop, hosted an inspiring evening to celebrate women, knowledge, and collective growth. The event was made possible through the generous sponsorship and vision of philanthropist and businessman Sunil Kothari, whose dedication to community empowerment and cultural innovation took center stage.
Founded by Dr. Manisha Bose, the We-Women Network uplifts women through free Knowledge-Sharing Workshops on health, healing, digital literacy, and financial empowerment. At the event, women experts who led these sessions were recognized for their invaluable contributions.
A moving highlight was the recognition of Didi Devimala, who runs Baan Unrak Children’s Home, with support from We-Women members presented for the children’s welfare.
The evening also featured a global panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Manisha, on “Beyond Gender: Co-Creating a World of Mutualism and Equality.” Esteemed panelists from Thailand, Myanmar, China, and Europe shared thought-provoking perspectives with 250+ attendees in the audience.

Churn’d By Multi-Seed ice cream – Owned by Pooja Kothari, this premium brand was earlier featured among the dessert highlights at the famous Ambani wedding of (Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.) At the Bangkok event, it delighted attendees and Thai influencers, who captured and shared the experience widely.

The teaser of his upcoming film Avayaan – Widely regarded as the main highlight of the evening, the teaser captivated the audience with its fantastic storytelling and visuals. It drew the loudest applause and reflected Kothari’s vision to use cinema as a force for empowerment, cultural preservation, and Sanatan values.
