We-Women Network Event: Celebrating Collaboration, Empowerment and Mutualism
On 13th September 2025, the We-Women Network, in collaboration with BangkokScoop and Sunil Kothari, hosted an inspiring evening to celebrate women, knowledge, and the spirit of mutual growth.
Founded by Dr. Manisha Bose, the We-Women Network is a vibrant community that creates opportunities for women to share, learn, and grow together. The group organizes Knowledge-Sharing Workshops led by women experts on diverse topics—ranging from gut health and digital literacy to healing and financial empowerment. These free workshops offer women a platform to contribute their knowledge and uplift one another.
At the event, the stage was shared by all the women who had conducted workshops, acknowledging their invaluable contributions—not only for themselves but also for the wider community.
A special moment of the evening was the heartfelt recognition of Didi Devimala, who runs Baan Unrak Children’s Home. A donation of 64,000 THB—contributed lovingly by We-Women members—was presented to support the purchase of undergarments for the children.
The event was attended by 250 people and many eminent personalities were present.
The highlight of the evening was a powerful panel discussion moderated by Dr. Manisha on the theme “Beyond Gender: Co-Creating a World of Mutualism and Equality.” The panel brought together diverse voices from across four countries—Mr. Karun, Ms. Cai Cai, Ms. Anna, and Dr. Prayut—each offering global perspectives shaped by rich education and experience. The discussion was thought-provoking and warmly received by the audience.
Adding a creative dimension, Sunil Kothari, the event sponsor, showcased the trailer of the upcoming film Avayaan, sparking further interest and engagement.
The evening was truly a celebration of women’s strength, wisdom, and unity—a program that empowered, inspired, and reaffirmed the importance of collective growth. Under the leadership of Dr. Manisha Bose, and in collaboration with BangkokScoop, the event stood as a testament to the power of women coming together to create meaningful impact.
