‘The Pursuit of Badasserie ‘ is a book for entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs and all those who are not entrepreneurs! This book cannot be restricted to any one profession, but it is a self-help book for all those who want to bring a shift in their mind sets.
Lynn Howard and Amanda Furgiuele, are highly impressive , successful women who have written this book which is experiential and relatable. Their desire to help is evident in the 4 sections in which the book of 202 pages is divided into.
The book motivates the reader to go for their dreams and make them happen by shifting the ‘scarcity mindset ‘ to the ‘ abundance mindset ‘. It speaks about developing a growth mindset instead of a fixed mindset. It urges the readers to prioritize what is needed to be done.
There is a very interesting suggestion in chapter ‘Good, Bad, indifferent ‘ which suggests the reader to add additional columns to their pros and cons list as they can see other perspectives to their pros and cons. The book is replete with many such tips like learning to empower effective management.
There are chapters that totally disregard ‘Imposter syndrome ‘ as just a feeling and not a fact and another chapter that boldly states to start loving people from afar. The book cautions people not to be reactive but proactive.
Each chapter has a tracker where the readers can map their mind and thus track what they lack and what they have done right.
The Pursuit of Badasserie is a very good read for anyone who is seeking to improve. It is written in a lucid manner and very easy to understand and thus it can cater to young adults and readers for all age groups. Change is the only constant factor and this book helps us to be that badass that we ought to be but don’t have the tools to be.
