The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has introduced Amazing Thailand Romance Month, a global campaign developed to attract couples and LGBTQ+ travelers. Part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025, the initiative advertises luxury travel experiences and exclusive privileges. Throughout February, TAT will collaborate with hospitality and airline partners to offer tailored packages and special promotions across key destinations. Events include romantic airport welcomes, business networking meetings, and curated travel experiences for international visitors.

As part of its broader 2 BY 4 Global Campaign, TAT has planned additional themed tourism promotions for the year. These include Amazing Songkran in April, which focuses on hidden gem destinations, and Amazing Summer in August, promoting multigenerational family travel. The February edition seeks to expand Thailand’s appeal to long-haul tourists, with a goal of attracting over 10 million visitors from Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa in 2025. Major trade events in Bangkok will also bring together tourism businesses and global travel agencies to strengthen international partnerships.
In a separate development, the Immigration Bureau will introduce a fully digital immigration form, replacing the paper-based TM 6 system. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) will launch on May 1, 2025, streamlining entry procedures for international visitors. The system integrates with airline databases, customs authorities, and health screening checkpoints to enhance efficiency at border control. Travelers will no longer need to fill out paper forms, reducing processing times and improving the overall arrival experience.
Authorities have also established a multilingual public awareness campaign to ensure a smooth transition to the digital system. Promotional materials in English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese will provide step-by-step instructions for travelers. Video guides will soon be released to introduce TDAC’s benefits and demonstrate how to complete the online form
