The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) hosted the grand “Amazing Thailand Saneh Thai Gala Night” at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok, shining a global spotlight on Thailand’s rich culture, creativity, and world-renowned hospitality. Themed “Myth of Siam – A Gala of Timeless Wonder,” the event was a highlight of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025, reaffirming Thailand’s position as a leading tourism hub. Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Sorawong Thienthong, emphasized the gala’s impact in reviving global travel enthusiasm. “This event celebrated the multifaceted beauty of Thai culture while reinforcing global trust in Thailand’s safety, readiness, and hospitality. It was a meaningful stride toward establishing Thailand as a top global tourism destination.” Distinguished guests included: Ms. Theerarat Samrejvanich, Deputy Minister of Interior Ms. Marisa Sukosol Nunbhakdi, Chair of the Soft Power in Tourism Subcommittee Ms. Mayuree Chaipromprasith, Festival Industry Promotion Subcommittee Mr. Sermkhun Kunawong, Arts Industry Promotion Subcommittee Global diplomats and cultural representatives The night also welcomed celebrity ambassadors from TAT’s Be My Guest campaign—including actors Bie Thassapak Chee, Nutt Nisamanee, Yoshi Rinrada; athlete Buakaw Banchamek; badminton star Popor Sapsiree; and influencers Alek Teeradetch, Pong Nawat, and Jenny Panan—who helped bring the magic of Siam to the international stage. Cultural performances enchanted guests with the Hun Lakhon Lek puppet act from the Ramakien epic and vibrant showcases representing Thailand’s five distinct regions. The evening peaked with an energetic set by T-POP sensation 4EVE, following their global debut in Los Angeles. Culinary artistry played a starring role through the “Amazing Experience” fine dining showcase. Dishes like shimeji mushroom larb, red ant egg salad, Hokkaido scallops with Southern Thai Khaolae sauce, braised Wagyu cheek curry, and Andaman red snapper celebrated local flavors with gourmet flair. Traditional desserts such as Kanom Ta-Pae, Kanom La, and Khao Mak ice cream offered a sweet finish. In the Showcase Zone, guests experienced Thailand’s “5 Must Do”—from sampling a Som Chun-inspired fine drink, creating royal garlands, and exploring premium local handicrafts, to engaging with interactive travel exhibits and modern-traditional fusion performances. The night concluded with “Thailand in the Box”, a curated set of artisanal gifts representing each region: A woven palm fan from the South A pha khao ma cloth from Central Thailand Thai silverware from the North A khit pillow from the Northeast A granite mortar from the East Each item reflected the regional charm and heritage of the Kingdom. TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool closed the evening, noting that the gala symbolized more than just tourism—it was a storytelling experience. “‘Myth’ resonates with the Thai word ‘Mit’, meaning friend, representing the warmth of Thai hospitality. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has celebrated the successful conclusion of the Phuket Dining Festival 2025, held from 30–31 May, reaffirming Phuket’s global standing as a leader in sustainable dining. Co-hosted by Tatler Asia (Thailand) and supported by TAT, the event brought together top restaurants and premium food and beverage brands to highlight Green Gastronomy and Responsible Tourism. Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, noted, “This event reflects how Thailand can lead in sustainable tourism while celebrating rich local cuisines and supporting community-based experiences.” With participation from renowned names like BaBa Lee, Heh, hom, Jaras, Samut, Royd, Tamarind, and Su Va Na, the festival emphasized eco-conscious collaboration. Supported by partners like Evian, Jagota, and PHRAYA, the initiative responded to the global trend of conscious travel.
