As an early years educator with a Masters degree in Special Education Needs and Inclusion from UK, Juhi is dedicated to helping children with learning difficulties and has a proven track record of success in this field. She believes that every child is unique, and so are their learning styles- “One size doesn’t fit all”.
Her expertise in her field enables her to create individualized learning plans that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each student, be it a slow learner or a child identified with additional needs. For this she uses a variety of teaching techniques, materials, and strategies to support their overall learning and well-being.
When asked about her biggest challenge, she replied, “One of the most challenging aspects of my role is supporting parents to accept and address their child’s learning difficulties. I work to build strong relationships with parents and educate them about their child’s needs, empowering them to provide the necessary support at home. I believe that parental involvement is essential for a child’s academic and personal success and early intervention is key”.
In summary, her professional profile includes:
• Expertise in creating individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
• In-depth knowledge of various learning difficulties and how to address them effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing her to build strong relationships with students, parents and other stakeholders.
Overall, Juhi is a highly skilled and dedicated educator with a passion for helping children reach their best potential. She believes in empowering parents to provide the necessary support for their child and strives to create a collaborative partnership between herself, parents, and students to achieve success.
Juhi has vast experience of 20 years as an early primary educator and for 8 years she led a kindergarten as the principal and SENCO. Under her leadership, the school became inclusive and she helped many families who needed support with their child’s needs. She is currently working in a well-known inclusive international school as a learning support teacher.
With a sound knowledge of a child’s developmental milestones, she has helped students with mild to moderate learning difficulties including dyslexia, global delay, Down’s syndrome, ADHD, children with behavior and emotional issues to name a few.
Personally I realize that helping children with additional needs and counselling parents professionally requires a lot of emotional investment and commitment. What is endearing about Juhi is that she does her work with passion and service.
Juhi is a part of #WomenPower A global Movement and is always there to support every endeavor that we strive to achieve.
