Military Earns Greater Public Trust Than Government in Thailand-Cambodia Dispute
A NIDA poll conducted from June 9–11, surveying 1,310 Thais, revealed that 86% trust the military to protect national interests in the Thai-Cambodian conflict. In contrast, the government and Foreign Ministry received significantly lower confidence ratings. The survey followed tensions in Ubon Ratchathani’s Chong Bok area and Cambodia’s ICJ intentions.
