UNESCO will host the inaugural award ceremony of the UNESCO Prize for Global Citizenship Education (GCED), celebrating two 2025 laureates selected from more than 150 submissions across 70 countries. The event will highlight how GCED projects strengthen global understanding, intercultural dialogue, respect, peace, and human rights.
A live webcast link will be shared soon. The ceremony ends with a celebratory cocktail reception. The Prize, supported by the Republic of Korea, will be awarded biennially.
