Royal dignitaries, foreign leaders present at royal funeral of HM the late King Bhumibol

Royal dignitaries and government leaders as well as representatives from 42 countries around the world have attended the royal cremation ceremony of HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Among royal and special guests on October 26 were state leaders and members of the royal families from 24 countries, including Their Majesties King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau’u of the Kingdom of Tonga, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain, Their Majesties King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of the Kingdom of Bhutan, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, His Royal Highness Prince Andrew – Duke of York of the United Kingdom, and His Imperial Highness Prince Akishino and Her Imperial Highness Princess Akishino.

In addition, government leaders and representatives from 18 other countries have also traveled to Thailand for the royal cremation ceremony, including Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China – Mr. Zhang Gaoli, President of the Republic of Singapore – Madam Halimah Yacob, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia – Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of Lao People’s Democratic Republic – Mr. Bounnhang Vorachith, Secretary of Defense of the United States – Hon. General James Mattis, and Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam – Mrs. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh.
