In Chiang Rai province, more than 200 volunteers are preparing the area around the replica after the construction is finished to pave the way for an exhibition on royal projects. 9,999 marigolds have been planted in front of the replica to honor His Majesty the late King.
Other northern provinces where the replicas have reportedly finished include Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Phetchabun, Lamphun, Tak, Lampang, Phitsanulok, Nan and Phichit.
In Chachoengsao, final touches are being put on the replica while local authorities are expediting the construction of a sandalwood furnace. Marigolds have been planted around the replica by soldiers from the 11th Infantry Division.
Other eastern provinces with fully constructed and decorated replicas are Rayong, Trat, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Sa Kaeo.
In the north eastern province of Ubon Ratchathani, the replica is located in Supattanaram Worawiharn Temple and is now 95% complete. Local residents have been encouraged to come out and clean streets around Thung Si Muang ahead of the royal cremation ceremony.
In Loei, the replica is 95% done. The provincial governor, Chaiwat Chuenkosum, said it will be completed before the cremation ceremony.
Northeastern provinces that have reportedly finished the construction are Amnat Charoen, Buriram, Sisaket, Nakhon Phanom, Maha Sarakham,Mukdahan, Roi-et and Yasothon.
In the central province of Chai Nat, significant progress has been made on the construction of a sandalwood furnace while the crematorium replica is already finished. Marigolds are being planted around the venue to mark the upcoming cremation ceremony.
Other central provinces with completed replicas are Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Suphanburi, Ratchaburi, Kamphaeng Phet, Phetchaburi, Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Angthong, Pathum Thani, Ayutthaya, Nonthaburi, Sukhothai, Singburi and Bangkok.
As for the south of Thailand, the replicas have already been completed in Chumphon, Songkhla, Trang, Phuket, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phang Nga, Ranong, Satun, Krabi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung.
