His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun has given his royal permission to have a portrait of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej placed in front of the Grand Palace.
The portrait of His Majesty the late King has now been placed in front of the Grand Palace to allow Thais to pay their last respects to the late King. Visitors are no longer allowed inside Dusit Maha Prasart Throne Hall.
It is the same portrait as the one in front of the royal urn inside the Throne Hall. Mourners can now pay their respects or lay garlands before the portrait from 8 a.m. everyday, except October 15th, 21st and 22nd when the royal funeral procession rehearsals take place.
