Agriculture Ministry to educate farmers about late King’s teachings

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is planning to spread the teachings of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej through its learning centers.

In a bid to enhance the performance of agriculturalists, the Department of Agricultural Extension has incorporated the concepts of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and self-reliance into the lessons at the department’s learning centers.

These lessons aim to strengthen agricultural operations, reduce operating costs, improve management skills, and promote the large-scale farming system.

The department is confident that agriculturists who follow His Majesty’s teachings would be able to improve their livelihood. According to the department, there are about 800 learning centers across the kingdom.
