The activity, which is conducted in the form of Table Top Exercise, comprises a series of scenarios including a hijack of an oil ship, rescue of passengers in sinking boats and evacuation of people stranded on an island to a shore.

The objective of the project is to test and improve policy-makers’ abilities to coordinate with different agencies under various circumstances, and to command different life-saving operations. Results of the exercise will be incorporated into the production of rescue manuals.

The national crisis management exercise will take place between July 19 and 25. – See more at: http://thainews.prd.go.th/CenterWeb/NewsEN/NewsDetail?NT01_NewsID=WNSOC5806050010069#sthash.qHWJGXd0.dpuf
