Govt organizes activities to raise anti-human trafficking awareness

The government is organizing an event to mark the Anti-Human Trafficking Day today at the Government House to raise public awareness of the issue and publicize government campaigns against the problem.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha chaired the opening ceremony of the event earlier this morning which saw various government units led by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security putting up exhibition on their work and achievements in anti-human trafficking.

The objective of this event is also to raise the confidence of the Thai society and the international community toward the government’s determination to eliminate human trafficking.

Apart from the exhibition, seminars are also scheduled to discuss related laws while forums are also arranged for public participation in relieving the plight of stateless Rohingya minority. – See more at:
