PM Yingluck led Cabinet ministers & ambassadors in welcoming the Prime Minister of Brunei Darussalam

The Prime Minister yesterday led Cabinet ministers and international diplomats to Thailand in welcoming the Prime Minister of Brunei Darussalam.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, along with Cabinet ministers, senior civil servants and all international ambassadors to Thailand, on Saturday welcomed the arrival of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’Izzaddin Waddaulah of Brunei Darussalam, at the Thai Khu Fa Building, Government House.

His Majesty, who is Brunei Darussalam’s Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Finance, is here as guest of the Royal Thai Government from June 29th to July 2nd, in response to an invitation extended by PM Yingluck during her trip to Brunei Darussalam last September.

The Thai PM also invited His Majesty to a meeting on various bilateral issues before a dinner reception at the Santi Maitri Building amidst tight security.

During his stay, His Majesty also had an audience with HM King Bhumibol at the Grand Palace on June 30th.
