Samui is one of Thailand’s leading tourist destinations that attracts a large number of Thai and foreign visitors each year. Bangkok Airways is ready for its 3rd Samui Island Marathon which will be running up on Sunday, 23rd September 2012 at Nathon pier, Samui Island, to compete for HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Cup (only for overall champion – Thai and Asian) and the total prize worth over 3 million baht.

The marathon is divided into 5 categories which are Full Marathon (42.195 km.); Half Marathon (21.100 km.); Quarter Marathon (10.550 km.) and Mini Marathon (for student) age between 12 – 14 years old (5 km.) and fun run (2 km.)
