The Office of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) presented the awards to students who produced the best short film about HIV/AIDS prevention.
There were 16 secondary schools that had sent their films with 6 of them receiving the awards while the other ten schools received the certificates. The best film belongs to Bang Bua school which created a short film entitled‘Yot Chai’.
Deputy Governor of BMA Malinee Sukhavejchaworakit said the competition was aimed at raising awareness about the practice of safe sex among Thai youth through a short film.
She said the competition had involved students and teachers who helped each other produce the film while at the same time instilled in them the understanding of HIV/AIDS and how to prevent themselves against the disease.

The team has won 10,000 THB prize. The first runner up was a film entitled ‘It’s Mine’ by Wat Bang Pakok school with a 7,000 THB prize while the second runner up was Wat Thong Samrit school with their film entitled ‘Rak Wai Sai’.
